Chef Leonard Doz’ia
Chef Leonard Doz’ia is synonymous with Freshness and Culinary foresight. Inspired by his mother, an entrepreneur and excellent cook, Leonard’s roots blossomed as a child growing up in the Southeastern Peninsula town of Portsmouth, Virginia where the cuisine possessed a coastal flair. He learned early the appreciation for “all things fresh” by having the ocean and his grandfather’s garden at his disposal.
He began studying cuisine from around the world, another passion he held, and honed his skills by creating and testing authentic recipes from every country. It was over 20 years ago when Leonard breathed life into his vision to create Doz’ia Catering, as the Owner and Executive Chef.
Following the inception of Doz’ia Catering, Leonard experienced success while working with non-profit organizations like Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and Emory University’s Physics Department. He began servicing Atlanta’s A- list which includes Atlanta Mayors of past and present, Atlanta Hawks owner Anthony Ressler and wife Jami Gertz, 100 Black Men of Atlanta, Fox 5Atlanta’s on air personalities, Tyler Perry productions, Super producer Will Packer, Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers and many more!
Chef Doz’ia has appeared on Food Network’s Cooks vs. Cons as well as being featured in various magazines and publications.
This exposure increased the demand for his services in the northeast and southeast region for clients demanding the freshest product possible. Chef Doz’ia has forged relationships with local farmers in various states to bring you the best in culinary perfection.
Doz’ia Catering features Exposed Kitchen Concepts with a cooking presentation that removes the mystery out of what goes on behind the kitchen wall.
